The senior leaders and directors of the office and the corporation visited the people-oriented development projects in Maya city, Oromia region.
During this visit organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure, among the people-oriented development projects carried out in Maya city, Oromia region, it was possible to see corridor development projects; institutions that were completed in a short time and provide services to the community; dairy cows and chicken farming.
In this regard, it was visited that the Haromaya Lake, which had been out of service for years, has been restored to its former state and is providing high fish production and boating entertainment services.
We have seen that our country has more resources than poverty. The work done to transform the city and make it competitive with other regions is commendable, said Honorable Helen Debebe, Deputy Director General of the Federal Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure.
The Head of the Addis Ababa Housing Development and Administration Bureau, Honorable St. George, expressed his admiration for the diverse development projects carried out by involving the community and thanked the city leaders and residents for the warm welcome they received.
The Mayor of Maya City, Dr. Yifra Zewde, also toured the people-oriented activities carried out in the city.
