The Addis Ababa Housing Development and Administration Bureau conducted an assessment yesterday to resolve the delay in the design work of a cooperative housing project being carried out by a construction and design consulting firm.
Discussions were also held to resolve the complaints submitted by the associations and to fill the gaps. In particular, gaps from experts to directors were reviewed regarding the delays encountered in the design work.
The construction and design consulting firm explained that the delay in the design work was due to a lack of expertise, and an agreement was reached to fill this gap and complete the design in a short time.
The delay in the design has been compensated for by the Construction and Design Consulting Company, which has been directed by the Housing Development and Administration Bureau to complete and submit the design within fifteen days.
During the discussion, the Head of the Housing Development and Administration Bureau, His Excellency Qande Wolde Giorgis, the Manager of the Construction and Design Consulting Company, Ato Kemal Jamal, the relevant officials of both institutions, and representatives of the associations that contracted the design were present to review the reasons for the delay in the work.
